Vintage Faire

Here are a few picture we took at the Faire, it was so much fun.
We wandered around for a couple of hours, trying to decide what to buy?
I seriously wanted it ALL!!
But what fun it all was.

Girls weekend of junking ;)

My mom, my sister and I, went for a girls weekend of junking.
We drove to Omak, Okanogan Washington for Vintage Faire. It was amazing poking around everyone's booths. What great displays they all had, and everyone was soooo nice.
I just wish money grew on trees and I didn't have to cross the border. Money limit to cross the Canadian,US border. I found some great little finds. I have a yellow beeskeep measuring set but over the years I have broken the 1/4 cup and the 1/2 cup ones. I was so excited to find the same one exactly in pink!!! And matching salt and pepper shakers I can't wait till next year when we can do it all over again.

Pay it Forward

I received the most beautiful gift from Theresa, from Dulaney Woods Treasures.
It was for a wonderful idea Pay it Forward. In return I have offered the same thing on my blog as well. The idea was to do something nice, for 5 people, I had decided to do it on my blog, as well as Facebook, and one other site. I guess I had better get busy, and start filling my end of the bargain lol
Theresa sent me this very wonderful prim wall hanging.
She has used one of a kind original photos, I don't even know where she would have found such wonderful photos. It even has my initials embroidered in the corner of the pouch.
When I opened the envelope from the post office I knew it was going to be special when all I could smell was sweet Annie ;)
I believe, I am one lucky lady!

For the love of Annies

I love Annie dolls.
I bought a couple of patterns online, and this is what I came up with.
I changed them slightly from the original patterns. The patterns are from Sew Many Prims.
What a beautiful weekend we had, the sun was shining, the snow is all gone. What a change from last week. Dare I say, " I think spring is finally here."

Goodies in the mail

I participated in a mug rug swap, with a great group of ladies and I received these two cute mug rugs. I made the two coffee mug rugs to send to my swap partner.
I visited with my very talented friend Terry from http://threecatfarm.blogspot.ca/. She made me this cute little bunny, which she also has on her blog and on Etsy, and its also featured in the create and decorate blog today. She also made the cutest bunny riding a crow, the crow has a little rusty bell in its beak. I must say I fell in love with it. You should check out her blog it's fantastic.
I must say I had a great day today, and received all kinds of treasures.
I checked out the antique store today and bought some jello molds. I just love turning them into pin keeps. I made a couple with bunnies.

Well it's official

The sign went up today, we are officially selling our house and moving to another province. Well when the house sells we will move.
I am of mixed emotions, I grew up in this area, this is my husbands and my first house we bought together. My family lives here, and we are very close. I suppose I should look at this as an adventure.
I had to de-clutter my house :( which ment I had to put away all my prims and all the personality I had in here. I hate how my house looks now, it's so not me.
I have been working day and night to get it ready for today. The day the realtor took the pictures. I renovated a bathroom took it right back to the 4 walls and put in new flooring, wainscot , vanity, toilet etc. it looks very nice. So glad my mom came to give me a hand as my husband works out of town. Cleaning my room of horror aka my sewing room was my biggest challenge. It has been a week of grumbling, and tears but the house is cleaner than ever lol.
