I had the greatest day with my sister in law.  We took a paverpol class.  It's amazing what you can make with wire, tinfoil, and an old t-shirt.

I'll be doing more of this for sure.

What a beautiful day we had today.  I sat in the sun and worked on my tea towels.  It was heavenly.

I used to live in British Columbia , so these towels are kinda personal.

The Weekend

I can't believe its the weekend again already.
With my husband home all the time, I lose track of time.  I really hope work picks up for him soon, he's been off work since before Christmas.  Not that I haven't enjoyed our time together.  But its starting to get a little stressful around here.
Sorry, I didn't mean to vent on here.
On a brighter note I have designed 3 more Pattern packets and they are available on my etsy shop.
Hopefully later today, I will get my tea towels posted on there as well.
We live near Calgary Alberta, and we have a wonderful Heritage site, called Heritage Park. www.heritagepark.ca

They have asked me to come in for a meeting, because they would like to sell my products in their store.  I am very excited, and overwhelmed.
I'll let you know how it turns out .

I've just posted my new designs

I have 3 patterns I have now designed, on my Etsy site.
I must say I am pretty happy with how they have turned out.

I am going to do a draw for 1 one of my patterns coming up soon.  So stay tuned !!

New Bench

My hubby is the best !!!!

I was at the salvage centre a couple of weeks ago, and found this cute headboard and footboard.
I loaded it into my truck and brought it home.  I had an idea in mind, but thought I would have to wait till spring to make it a reality.
My husband woke up this morning, and told me he was going to make me my bench.

Finished newest designs

I have finally finished my designs,  tell me what you think.

Making patterns

Making patterns, is a lot tougher than I thought lol

We just bought a new computer today, so I'm  trying to figure it all out.   Going from windows to a Mac is a big adjustment.

Well at least now with the new computer I should be able to keep in better communication.

I have found I absolutely love!!!! doing needle felting.  Please be kind as I am self taught and still learning.

We had so much fun building our fairy gardens.  The imaginations where running wild

And mine finished ;)

I am so glad we got together and spent some good quality time together.

I've decided to make a fairy garden for my nieces when they come to visit. 

I got my dads radio flyer wagon he had when he was little, I think it's goin to be perfect. 

I started to make buntings and mushrooms and little snails all to make special memories with my little cuties ;)

I can't wait to see it all come together

Family for Christmas

I can't believe it's less than a week and my family will be here !!!  I can hardly contain the giddiness I feel.  We just recently moved to a new province and I miss my family huge!
I am really looking forward to Christmas in our new home.

OMGosh. Where did the time go???

I can't believe how fast time has gone by.

We are all settled into our new home, and finally have my sewingroom all set up.

I have been missing my sewing and crafting space.  It's like walking into my very own sewing store, it's like candy for the eyes lol

I have been teaching my niece and her friend to sew.
